LPC Project Executive Group

Comprising seven representatives from Founding Institutions, the Executive group worked to implement the vision laid out by the project team. This group provided guidance on critical decisions, formalized documentation, and ensured that the project makes progress towards its goals.

LPC Project Governance Document Working Group

The Governance Document Working Group was charged with developing and implementing a governance document (bylaws) for the LPC as an organization. The working group identified exemplar documents and best practices for establishing similar or analogous organizations, established a community review process that incorporated community feedback into the documents, negotiated community-driven revisions of documents, established an approval process for allowing membership certification of the documents, and oversaw the implementation of the governance model described in the documents.
